Weekend recap with a birthday girl

Saturday began with an early morning Easter Egg hunt that the kids have been anxiously awaiting for, for the past week!

A football field, yes a football field full of colorful Easter Eggs pretty much took their breathes away.

I was actually impressed myself how big it was. Pictures with the Easter Bunny and their baskets overflowing with eggs was a morning to remember. So much that it helped in the 10am Soccer game.

Every.Single.Week. he gets better and better and better.

Today however, we weren't anticipating a superstar out of him.

I was unaware of this statement but apparently Jake had threatened in a kindof joking-ly way that if he didn't get in the game and kick the ball that he would take his Easter stuff away.

I know, kindof cruel but you have to know Jake to understand that.

Pierce didn't take that statement lightly.

I wish I had a video to show you how aggressive and hard he played that morning. It was something we had NEVER ever, ever seen before.

The coach came up to us DURING the game and yelled out, "Who is this kid!"

He stole the ball, dribbled it half way down the field on his own and kick it and barely missed the goal!

He did Awesome!

After the Egg hunt and Soccer Game, we headed up to Mckinney for the Mckinney Trade Days.
Its basically like a fair but without the rides.

So, they have booth after booth after booth of neat stuff for sale. You can find antiques there, Pets for sale, all the amazing fair food you can imagine, things that people make to sell, and well... pretty much just a whole lot of crap. It is alot of fun though!

Alot of first's for Charlotte today, including a Dum Dum sucker she was hypnotized with for quite some time!
She was just lounging sucking her sucker...

This is a ridiculous doggy purse, water holder looking thing for dogs.

Interesting so I took a picture of it.

Who would wear these things?

Surprisingly, a lot of people I guess.

Can you believe its been one year already?

Charlotte has truly been a miracle baby for me, personally.

There are so many wonderful things alone she brings to the family. I love watching her grow and learn new things. I love seeing her likes/dislikes and her little personality develop.I am just enjoying her so much right now.

I love her soft hair, reminds me of a baby chick

I love that she sucks her thumb

I love how she always has a smile on her face

I love biting her. I’m a biter

She understands no and smiles when you say it

I love watching her crawl. One leg is down while the other foot is propped, giving her that added speed

I love her little sounds she makes. Oww, Uh oh, Thank you, Mama, Dada, and other random noises

I love how she always wants ME

Happy Birthday Baby Charlotte!
