Disneyland

Some of you may know that my favorite-st place on earth is Disneyland. I love the atmosphere, the rides, the food, characters, I could go on. I love it and I LOVE that my kids love it. What kid wouldn't though, right? So, I've had this timeshare for a long time that we rarely use, so we were able to use the points and such for the trip which made for a pretty cheap trip. Had a great time, was begging Jake the last day to let us stay 2 more days, glad we didn't because the day we left the park shut down for a good part of the day for a bomb threat. Nothing was found, thank goodness. Oh how I miss the Corn Dogs and Churros there... Ugh

Pierce and Cecily could go on just about every single ride, the only ride Cecily couldn't was Indiana Jones, but other than that... They went on just about everything! Some of the favorites were the Tower of Terror, Soaring Over California, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Its a Small World, and Splash Mountain! Steve, Lauren, Olivia, Isla, Grandma, and Grandpa came along with us on the trip. We had a BLAST!
Oh and I almost forgot... Modern Family was filming a show while we were there (which was quite annoying) but we got to see some of the actors which was kind of cool) And, the Disneyland episode was just on TV last week!

Gymnastics

I've been wanting to put Cecily in gymnastics for a while and felt that it was time now that she is more independent and boy that was the best thing we've done. She is in LOVE with it, so much that every single day she wears one of her gymnastics outfit, only to be told she has to take it off. I'm not even kidding when I say every single day. Every morning she wakes up and puts on a new gymnastics outfit. And every morning I tell her she needs to wear normal clothes. This has been going on for 2 months now, the first few days was cute, now i'm ready to burn the outfits all together.

Well, not really but you know what I mean. It's so stinking cute though and she LOVES it. I just love seeing my kids show an interest in things. Pierce is jealous and is insisting in putting himself in gymnastics too, but we are trying to offer other things instead of this for now :)

Cecily has the perfect little figure for gymnastics, I think she will be great!

St. Patty's Day

I LOVE Holidays and I love doing silly things for the kids. I haven't really done anything for St. Patrick's Day before so I thought this year I would and the kids Ate.it.up.! The morning of, the Leprechaun showed up, left a note, and promised to come back if the kids were good. (Leprechaun came at like 2am) Early Saturday morning, the kids came running into our room saying the Leprechaun stopped by, left a note, and also left footprints all over the house. (62 footprints to be exact, hence the 2am)

When Pierce saw this, he took it upon himself to write a note back to the Leprechaun. I was dying inside. I freaking LOVED it. Cracking up... His notes are on the green paper.

A bunch of stuff all together

Here's just a whole lotta pictures all in one,
it's too hard to go back and do an individual post
for every single thing this late in the game.

Some of my new years resolutions (Starting today)
is that I will keep up on my blog more regularly
start going back to the gym (have taken 3 months off,
not cause I wanted to), and re-organize my life since
its been crazy, crazy busy since July.

I will post later in a few days what has really consumed my
time and life lately. You know, the store.

Anyway, here are some pictures of some recent events.

He will listen if he has to.

So Mrs. Jones is a genius. i looooove her.
As I mentioned before I knew she would be an
excellent teacher… She does NOT take crap and holds these kids accountable for their own actions, including unfinished homework and such.
We’ve been reading consistently every night since school
started but one night, we were out late somewhere and came back home got ready
for bed and all of a sudden I hear Pierce freaking out about reading his book.

I thought to myself, what in the world is going on?
I soon found out that it was because if he doesn’t read every night and his reading
log isn’t signed, he has to stay 5 min inside while everyone else goes to recess.
Heaven forbid they miss recess. I guess things like this gets him listening, doesn't it.
I was smiling inside and thinking, wow… This teacher really knows how to get them motivated to read!
I love it
Every single night he reads and he is at a 2nd grade reading level already.
What a good boy…
He’s a smarty pants!

Caught him reading on his own in bed the other night... Sweetness right here!

First day of school pictures... and here we are basically at the end of the year already. My bad.
