Yeah so I'm not going to pretend that he's good at basketball, I'm just going to lay it all out there. It's bad, its really bad. In his defense though, his father has not played basketball with him or practiced with him until pretty much now, so its really his first time being exposed to it. I took the kids to the park the other day to practice with Pierce specifically and he was more interested in finding the Bluebonnets I had talked about earlier that day instead of playing. Yeah so we need to work on this. He was really cute though at practice and is really working on his dribbling and getting better. Next season, we are going for something more physical. I'm putting him in Football. Yes, this will be interesting and worth stickin around for to see it all unfold. Bottom line, Jake better find a new day dream for his son because it doesn't involve the NBA.

Socks (again), 6am, Char, and BBall- it's not looking good people
Pierce woke up a little earlier than I did on Monday morning and I heard Charlotte crying and a bunch of noise in the kitchen. I got out of bed thinking, what in the world is going on and what is he doing?! (Because I knew it was Pierce) And when I walked into the kitchen, I found him on top of the counter shaking a sippy cup for his baby sister. Yes, that’s right, he made a “bottle” for his sister because she was crying. My heart immediately softened, it was the cutest most thoughtful thing I had seen him do. Little moments like this seriously make me melt inside, I love it. Wish I had my camera handy but it was too early for my mind to function.
Charlotte has been really busy lately. She’s moving around a whole lot more and does not like to stay in her car seat. She's doing this new thing and throws toys over this little ledge we have that seperates our kitchen and living room. Some pictures below show you that she is starting to climb up onto things, like our tv table. Ha!
She has added a few more words to her vocabulary like Duh and Nana. She loves to yell and hear herself talk. She has learned how to spit, throw food on the floor, and has mastered the “All done” hand sign. I have slowly introduced real food and she is loving it. She really likes Taco Soup, Mac & Cheese, Beans, Peas, Sweet Potato fries, all fruit, Quesadillas, Turkey, Chocolate Chip cookies, and Popsicles. Yes I know, I’ve pulled all the stops already. She just has quickly refused baby food (like the Chicken Noodle and Beef Vegetable stuff) I don’t blame her, so that’s why I’ve started so soon. She has put on the weight quite fast as well, which is a good thing.
As I have mentioned before, Cecily has been obsessed with wearing socks with everything, although it has gotten easier telling her no and her accepting it. I did however take a picture of what she was about to wear to her playdate, it was way too cute.
