The kids woke up to green four leaf clover necklaces, stickers, and a green breakfast. They were all over it!!! I love doing stuff like this for them, I didn’t have memories like this growing up, so I really want to do things fun for them so they can look back and remember.
Swimming in March? Why yes! This is why Texas is so great… Spring and Fall are basically mild summers for us, so there’s a lot more time to do fun things outside because it’s so nice. My friend Chelsea had a little get together at her house and let’s just be honest here, we all didn’t want to leave! They have a beautiful home with a pool and hot tub and a neat water fall feature thingy, the kids were in heaven. If I could have it my way, I’d be there every day, but they have a life of their own too! It was about 85 outside (felt hotter) and the water was warm. We had 17 total kids at one point, that’s including the 4 little ones, but that’s a ton of kids! The kids were just all smiles and playing all very well! I got some color too, good way to start the spring!

i can't believe you are swimming already!! cole wants to make a comment. he says "green eggs is good. comments is the same things as words. you take a pool noodle and you blow water through it and then you drink it."
ReplyDeletesorry, kind of a gross comment.
OKAY - that was sooo much fun!! Bitter sweet though - it almost feels like a carrot was dangling in front of me soaking up the sun with great friends and fabulous scenery - like it will be a while before that can happen again with so much school left. Oh well - it made for a great spring break day!!
