That's what she said: Day before Thanksgiving

Wednesday was the first day of fun! We got up early and got ready for our family pictures. Our cousin Hillary is an amazing photographer (see newborn pics of Charlotte too) and any chance we can, we snag her to take photos of us. She is seriously one of the best photographers I know! So, after about 30 minutes in the cold taking photos, we met up with the family at Carl’s Jr for breakfast. This is a Gmoo (for Grandma) tradition and when all the family is in town, everyone meets for breakfast. (Sorry, no pictures of Carl’s Jr. I forgot my camera and still beating myself up for it) Anyway, the people at CJ’s know who the Warnocks are because they come so much and it’s one of the only ones that serves Biscuits and Gravy.

After a late breakfast we got changed and went to the movie to see “Tangled” with the kids, which was way cute and the kids loved it too. After the movie Lauren and Steve wanted to look at Pierce's arm. After looking at it (without an xray) and with just the information we had given them, she thought maybe it was a NurseMaid Elbow injury. So, they were trying to twist and tug it back into place and it just wasn't working. So they left it alone and we were going to have Uncle Ken take a look at it. So, after that we headed up to the ranch for some fun and had dinner there. Aunt Kathy put together a big Taco Bar for everyone and we ate and let the kids play and play and play. I just love seeing the kids have so much fun with their cousins.

Well s0 that night we had Uncle Ken look at Pierce’s arm and he suggested we take him in to be seen. So, jake took him in, they took xrays and discovered it was a hairline fracture. (There are fancier words for it but I can't remember what they were) Of course by now I’m feeling even more awful that we waited until now to get it x-rayed. So, they ended up splinting it and he has to keep that on for about 4 weeks or more. But, this little hurt arm hasn’t stopped him from doing anything as you will see in pictures below. It was actually rather cute. After coming back from the hospital, he was feeling really confident about things and was ready for a new day.
